FAQ
Questions, answered
- What exactly is LOTACORP?
- At heart, a family doctor service. One trusted physician who knows your family, has time for you, and is there when you need him. For families abroad, that means a dedicated doctor caring for your parents back home in Ghana.
- What does membership include, and what does it not?
- Membership covers the doctor's time, access and coordination. It does not cover the cost of medicines, laboratory or hospital tests, emergencies, admissions, or other facility services, which are billed by the providers that deliver them.
- How do diaspora families stay informed?
- You receive monthly plain-language updates on your parent's health, and you have a clear point of contact for anything urgent. No medical jargon, no chasing.
- Can I pay from abroad?
- Yes. Diaspora pricing is available on request — we'll quote you privately and confirm payment details after your introductory call. Fees are quoted in Ghana cedis.
- Is my family's information kept private?
- Yes. We collect only what we need, store it securely, and we will align with Ghana's Data Protection Act before holding any clinical detail. You control your consent.
- Where is Dr. Onwurah based?
- In Ghana, serving Accra and the Eastern Region, with telemedicine reach for families wherever they are.
